Mini-rant about tumblr

How can a massive company get so big and only have 18 employees? Yeah they’ve got 23 or 25 or something now but until about a month ago they had 18. No wonder there’s so many things wrong with tumblr.

And I hate the way that people are resorting to desperately reblogging “I will promote the first ___ people who reblog this, you must be following me!!!!” posts, all because tumblr have fucked up the recommendations that usually appear on the dashboard - that people is why you’re all losing followers, because normally you’d gain some and wouldn’t notice people unfollowing.

Also, the actual tumblr directory doesn’t work either. I click on “more” and I just get a blank white page….

  1. tengooo said: 18 employees is a fair enough amount of employees for a website, Most of them are probably database and server engineers and script writers anyway, which is about perfect for a site like tumblr. Most problems are the result of bandwidth overload.
