Seems like Sony have made a new PS3 to combat sales of the Wii U. Slimmer, cheaper PS3 or really expensive new console that as far as I can tell does nothing more than a PS3 or an Xbox 360.

Or according to Google anyway. I had the yellow light of death, got it repaired for £80 before Christmas, now the fan goes mad after a few minutes of doing anything. From what I’ve read the PS3 is headed for another yellow light of death. The shop that “fixed” it originally have actually botched the repairs!

PS Vita Playstation Store Challenge Okay so I’m going to do this “challenge”. I’ve put £50 of credit on my Playstation account and plan on getting as much value out of my £50 as possible over the next… however many weeks it takes me to spend the money (that’s if I remember to do this). And hopefully this will show a different side to the Vita, because a lot of people have criticised the price of ‘physical games’ for it.. some games costing up to £45.

Bought a “travel bag” for my Vita. The only problem is that I can’t fit the Vita in it (when it’s in its case). The AC power cord and USB cable fill the “travel bag”. Oh and Lumines is really addictive.

After forgetting to pre-order a PSVita I bought one in town today. Plenty of them still in Game and I’m guessing HMV had a lot of them too since they had two guys outside HMV trying to get people to try one out.

And yeah these photos I’ve uploaded look shit I know. Blame my tiny phone that blurs photos every time I take one.

I'm in the same boat when it comes to getting the vita or not. If I did, it would be the wifi version cause wifi is everywhere. I have the money for it, but idk if I wanna drop 300+ dollars to get all the things I want at one place, you know? What are your opinions? — Asked by bdwhite

The price was putting me off a little but then I remembered I paid more for my ipod touch a couple of years back. I would probably only get a wi-fi one too, otherwise I’d have to pay extra money to top-up the 3G.

I’m looking at one on Play.com for £265 with Rayman Origins and an 8GB card. Then maybe I’d buy one of the cheaper launch games as well.

I’ve read as well that Sony will not do a price drop.
