Hello Tumblr

After three weeks without posting anything I’m “back”. If anyone wondered why I hadn’t posted (not likely) I could give a list of reasons, but quite simply I couldn’t be bothered with tumblr. That’s not an insult to the people I follow and those who follow me, but I just didn’t feel like posting on here. Sometimes it’s good to just take a break from things.

If the internet has taught me one thing

It’s to know it’s better to ignore people who you disagree with. People will argue about anything and everything.

Tumblr should have a list feature…

…or a group one. Or some way you can put who you’re following into different lists/groups… it’d be like putting blogs into different categories.

Changed my theme

And actually paid for it. It was only $9 + $1 to charity. I think I’ve donated more money to charity via tumblr than any other way.

There was the oil spill and Japanese tsunami too just in case you thought it was just the $1 with the theme.

Just saw a “Map of Radiation” on here…

…with everyone going mad thinking everyone in the world will die.

I checked the original poster to happily see that (as I already knew) it was a joke. It’s amazing how people will believe anything they see on tumblr.

The only potentially affected area of minor radiation is a 12 mile radius.

How do I know this? By turning on a magical thing called the TV and watching the news.

Thanks for unfollowing

I hate it when people unfollow me. Why? Because you followed me. And now several months later you decide you’re going to unfollow me. Fair enough I’ll unfollow you in return.

To me every time a person does this it shows me that tumblr is a “fake” place. Especially when people follow me first, even talked to me, and then one day they stop following. I’m sorry but I don’t post porn, or offensive things. Most people unfollowing me have been following me for months so they know the types of things I post.

It’s all because of those little numbers next to “followers” on a person’s dashboard isn’t it?

The recommendation system has been down since December, so people aren’t getting new followers - so they unfollow people to keep their egos in check.

I’ve lost over 100 followers since the recommendation system went down. Which is somewhat annoying, but at the same time it makes me appreciate the people who are still following me even more.

Music Website Update

You may remember about a month ago I was posting about restarting/moving my old website to tumblr.

Well I’ve decided tumblr is a waste of time. I’ll stick to my own web host and using wordpress. Even if I did pay £30 on a tumblr premium theme (which was very misleading imo) so because of tumblr removing/giving up on their directory and pissing me off about money I won’t be doing it on tumblr.

I’ll contact the few interested people who said they would help out probably within the next week.
