This by the way isn’t an attempt to get people to take loans out via tumblr or anything, especially since I think I only have 1 follower who could get one.
Just wanted to get some thoughts from a design point of view.

I’m doing an online training course for work tomorrow
It’s 90 minutes but my manager has suggested I work from home. If you insist.
The training course is at 2pm.

I’m actually looking forward to the bank holidays
Mainly because I’ve booked Wednesday and Thursday off work. So I’m off Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday AND Monday.

So glad I didn’t book this week off work
It’s half term so town has been really busy. There’s no way I’m going suit shopping with kids everywhere.
I’ll try and get next week off instead, I’m thinking it’ll end up being a day or two off rather than a full week though… just the way it is in work at the moment. It’s kind of busy, I say kind of busy because the time just flies by. I look at the clock and it’s like 2pm and I haven’t had lunch.

Another work related post
Denis the manager who I had a falling out with the other day, had a massive argument with Stuart and threatened him. So Stuart is now leaving and taking legal action against Denis.
I definitely need a new job now. If Stuart goes ahead with the legal action, then the whole business is fucked.

Work went to another level today
Manager: “You do all your filing today or I will discipline you. Don’t like it? Look for a new job”
Me: “I’ve already been looking for a new job”
He basically wanted me to do filing which we haven’t had time for because of Christmas being our busiest period EVER, we’ve just moved to new premises which we aren’t settled into yet and we don’t even HAVE a filing system yet! How can I do the filing, when he knows I don’t have time to do it, and especially since we don’t have a system in place to begin with.
Wanker.
I’ve been asked to stay though by a director, who is on my side.

I have never hated someone so much before in my life

Been looking for jobs online
And I think the main thing I’ve noticed is how good my current pay is. Lots of jobs are minimum wage.

Work was ridiculous today, going to start looking for a new job
Denis went nuts at everyone, quite randomly too - one minute he was fine then he went off on one at all of us. He’s shit at dealing with stress, but to be honest I’ve had enough of his inability to do anything properly. He literally knows nothing, yet he’s the manager.
The way I see it, is he’s been disrespectful towards me and I’m ‘holding all the cards’ so to speak. The other week when I was off sick, everything went to shit in the office. I know how important I am and I’m going to try to use that to my advantage.
I did look at a couple of job sites earlier and I genuinely saw a “Waste Management” job being advertised - it made me smile and think of The Sopranos.

Tried to pull up a carpet today in work
We failed. Four guys trying to pull a carpet up - which probably sounds bad, but the thing was glued down super tight. Bits of concrete were coming up with the carpet.
I destroyed my fingers, though we got about 3/4 of the carpet up, but then gave up.
We’re moving office and nothing seems to be going to plan.
And to answer the anon ask I had: 25.
